Extremely friendly peoples running this place… Wonderful tastes with extra high quality foods. Fantastic location just over the sand of the Lygaria beach. Overall unexpectedly high quality and on top of all… VERY logical pricing… On Sundays, you can taste traditionally cooked Cretan lamb meat “Antikrysto” (google it…) and on top of all the above… courtesy fruits with the bill…
Last but not least, do NOT forget to taste their unique goats’ milk icecream… We LOVED this place !!!!

Honestly, we tried other tavernas around Ligaria and Ag. Pelagia and this place remains our favourite.
Super friendly Stela was our entertainer the entire vacation ❤️

Delicious food, great wine & loving family. Taverna Anatoli exceeds all our expectations every time! We are always greeted and treated like family. There’s no better place for authentic delicious fresh Mediterranean, Cretan / Greek cuisine. We have loved every item we’ve ever ordered to eat but their house white wine is perfect for a great summer dinner! Locals from around the island even travel from far distances to dine in this taverna. It’s one of a kind and the views dining on the beach is unmatched! It’s perfect for family night out or even a romantic dinner for 2. It’s just perfect and you won’t ever be disappointed!!
