Kenneth Clark OBITUARY

Kenneth N. Clark May 23, 1913-Jan 6, 2012 Resident of Watsonville Kenneth passed away of heart failure with his family at his side. He was 98 years old.

Kenneth was born in Meridian, CA. He grew up in Santa Cruz where he worked on his father’s dairy farm with his two brothers. He graduated from Santa Cruz High School in 1931 where he was president of the Lettermans Society.

Kenneth was an outstanding halfback for the S. C. Cardinals in which he made C.C.A.L. twice, scoring all of the touchdowns in the games. He excelled in track and was captain of the team.

He worked for the Southern Pacific Railroad for 38 years, retiring as a conductor in 1973. “Kenny Boy” loved to travel, enjoyed sports and fishing, always active, he later enjoyed working on puzzles. He never lost his wit and will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his son, Norm Clark; daughter, Janis Brautovic; 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.

He is preceded in death by his wife Alice and his son Layton.
