On this week’s Talking Texoma, Chris Showalter is with Madelyn Winter to talk the annual Main Street Fest in Grapevine, Texas.  This family friendly event has been happening for 40 years.  It is a craft brew experience presented by Bank of the West.  It is happening on May 17th, 18th, and 19th.

At Main Street Fest you can visit the Kids Zone which will feature Great Wolf Lodge and Legoland.  There will also be an amusement park with carnival rides and fun games.    There will be 70 food and artisan vendors along main street with festival favorites like funnel cakes, corn dogs, and many new treats and goodies.  The merchants along Main Street will be open all weekend long with their winery tasting rooms, great restaurants, and great shopping.

There will also be live entertainment throughout the weekend on all four stages, all three days.  Also, the craft brew experience is a nice area to sit and relax and sip on some craft brews or use the VIP lounge area for additional seating.  This year they will have a new experience called the Cotton Belt Country Club which pays homage to the DFW golf tournaments around the area.
