Troye Sivan on working with Ariana Grande: "I want to collaborate with Ariana Grande for the rest of my life"
During a recent event in collaboration with Magnum as part of Cannes Film Festival, Troye Sivan sat down to discuss his collaborations with Ariana Grande.
Grande and Sivan previously collaborated on the 2018 track, "Dance to This", which was the fourth single from Sivan's second studio album, Bloom. Following the release of Grande's latest album, eternal sunshine, she released a deluxe edition which featured four additional songs including "supernatural (feat. troye sivan)".
“I want to collaborate with Ariana Grande for the rest of my life. We've done two now, and I want to just keep doing that forever. I think she’s like the dream collaboration," Sivan said in the interview with Magnum.

Delving further into how their first collaboration came about, he said: "The first time we collaborated was on Bloom – we were friends first and I got really nervous – I sent her the song and said, 'let me know if you like it', and she started typing immediately which I thought was really bold because normally when you send someone a song, I fully respect that they're gonna need time to listen a few times... She'd listened to it once and really liked it."
He then added that he thinks eternal sunshine is one of the album's of the year, and he immediately said yes when he'd heard the track "supernatural" before it had been released.
