Wait — why is there such a big gap in the schedule for Jazz in the Park?

Blame it on the calendar and Milwaukee's crazy-busy summer of 2024.

The first Thursday in July is the Fourth of July. The next Thursday, July 11, is the first night of the East Town neighborhood's other big summer attraction — Bastille Days, which runs July 11-14 this year. And July 18 is the final night of the 2024 Republican National Convention, which is expected to cause traffic issues and other distractions.
