In early trading on Tuesday, shares of Enphase Energy topped the list of the day's best performing components of the S&P 500 index, trading up 6.7%. Year to date, Enphase Energy has lost about 10.5% of its value.
And the worst performing S&P 500 component thus far on the day is Marathon Petroleum, trading down 3.8%. Marathon Petroleum is showing a gain of 15.3% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are Vistra, trading down 1.7%, and Illumina, trading up 3.7% on the day.
