Although Tyson Fury still doesn't look like an athletic Adonis, there is no denying he has changes his physique dramatically over the course of the last six months. When he fought Francis Ngannou, it was clear he wasn't at 100% of his usual fitness. Just to give people an example, Fury was in top shape against Deontay Wilder and was essentially victorious in all three fights against the American heavyweight. Now that he has a new challenge ahead versus Usyk, there is a good chance that his appearance deceives people and he delivers one of the best performances of his career. But how did Tyson Fury return to fitness in such a short period of time?

Speaking to SKy Sports, nutritionist Greg Marriot said: "I said 'We need to get some fat off you'. So we went out to Jeddah in November, did a fat loss camp for six weeks, and then got into serious training. He'll tell you himself he's never going to be body beautiful, it's not about that. The body composition that has changed with him still being 18 stone 10 - I think people think he's going to be 17'13 - never. He comes to my room every night and he went 'Greg, I haven't felt like this since Wilder 2'. I said to him 'I'm so happy for you but it's also sad because we might not ever see this Tyson Fury ever again'. What that means is, watch what he does to Usyk. It'll be like man vs boy, I promise you. He's a serious Tyson Fury at the minute. A serious Tyson Fury."

It's now or never for Tyson Fury

Tyson Fury is aware that he has arguably the most important test of his professional career on Saturday. If he wins, there is a good chance he will be considered the greatest boxer of all time. But beating Oleksandr Usyk won't be an easy task, especially considering he will be dealing with a heavyweight who moves like a middleweight. It should be very interesting to see who comes out on top and how Tyson Fury plans to tackle this new challenge ahead of Saturday. Whoever wins, takes the big prize home and all the spoils of war.
