24-year-old Robert Brown arrested and charged in Stockton May Day shooting that killed three and injured 15

Victims have been identified as Chiquita Ewing, Christian Bradley and Micheal Anderson Jr.

BCSO reported that on Saturday, May 11, 2024, deputies from the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office reacted to gunfire reports in the Stockton Community.

Eighteen individuals were recognized as victims, with three fatalities occurring as a result of the incident.

Since Saturday, the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office and the Bay Minette Police Department have been tirelessly investigating this incident.

We extend our gratitude to the victims and witnesses whose cooperation aided in the identification and apprehension of one of the suspects, Robert G. Brown from Mobile. Brown has been charged with Assault in the First Degree in connection to the Stockton, Alabama shooting.

While this arrest cannot erase the pain and trauma of last Saturday, we hope it brings some solace and justice to the victims, their families, and our community. Our work is far from over. We remain committed to identifying and apprehending every individual involved in the shooting. To achieve this, we urge witnesses and victims present at the event to come forward with any information that can assist our investigation. We rely on the public’s support to move forward and ensure a successful prosecution.
