Janie Laura Smith, 88, of Decatur, AL, passed away on May 14, 2024. Visitation will be on Sunday May 19th from 1 pm until 2 pm at Roselawn Funeral Home. Her Celebration of Life will begin at 2 pm in the chapel of the funeral home, with Bro. Jimmy Meeks officiating.
She will be laid to rest at Roselawn Cemetery.
Janie is survived by four daughters, Kay Mock Stewart, Rhonda Mock Tew(Nick), Linda Mock Walker, and Amy Mock, five grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.
She is preceded in death by her daughter JoAnn Mock and husband Edward Smith.
She loved her family, church, and friends, and will be missed by all who knew her.
