Cannes 2024: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan stuns in dramatic black and white attire despite injury, see photos and videos

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, a regular at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival, walked the red carpet in a black and white dress with gold detailing. Despite her arm injury, the actor made quite a style statement.

For over a week now, fans and fashion enthusiasts alike have been eagerly awaiting Aishwarya Rai Bachchan‘s red carpet appearances at the 77th Cannes Film Festival, anticipating another series of show-stopping looks. The former Miss World and L’Oréal Paris brand ambassador, over the decade, has captivated fans with her stunning appearances at the festival, putting India on a global map, and this time too, it’s no exception.

The 50-year-old actor walked the red carpet at the premiere of Francis Ford Coppola’s film Megalopolis in a stunning black and white outfit with gold detailing. The actor was also seen wearing a white cast on her right hand. Aishwarya oozed glamour, smiling at the paparazzi and waving to the cheering crowd. Despite an injury to her right arm, she managed to look effortless and regal. In various clips, Aaradhya Bachchan can also be seen walking beside her mother as they made their way out of the hotel.

On Wednesday evening, Aishwarya Rai was spotted at the Mumbai airport with her daughter Aaradhya, both looking stylish as they left for the French Riviera. The paparazzi videos showed Aishwarya’s right arm in a sling while Aaradhya sweetly assisted her mother by holding her bag. For their airport looks, Aishwarya was wearing black trousers and a long blue overcoat, while Aaradhya was dressed in a pair of black joggers, paired with a white sweatshirt. Both Aishwarya and Aaradhya were warm to the paparazzi as they entered the international terminal of the airport.

Aishwarya’s journey at the prestigious Cannes film festival has been nothing short of spectacular, with her red carpet appearances creating a buzz year after year, establishing her as a global style icon. Her debut in 2002 saw her paying homage to her Indian roots with a gold embroidered saree, designed by Neeta Lulla. She attended the Cannes Film Festival for the premiere of her film Devdas and was accompanied by Shah Rukh Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali.  Since then, she has consistently made headlines for her exquisite fashion choices, representing India on the global stage with grace and elegance.
