Anticipation lingers at Valhalla Golf Club ahead of the PGA Championship. As players work to learn the course hosting its fourth PGA Championship, fans take in the chance to see their favorite players aiming to hoist the Wanamaker Trophy.

Below are some sights and sounds from the practice rounds ahead of the 106th PGA Championship.

Valhalla Greets Players

Even with rainy conditions on Tuesday in Louisville, Valhalla has delivered spectacular views. The inside of the clubhouse holds the history of the past three PGA Championships (1996, 2000, 2014) the course has hosted.

It’s All About the Fans

Jordan Spieth and Tony Finau exemplified one of the most essential parts of the PGA Championship: inspiring the next generation of fans. Like many of their peers, they took time out of their rounds to sign autographs.

The Block Party Continues

The lore of Michael Block, PGA, has only grown since his T-15 finish at Oak Hill last year, including a spectacular ace on the 15th hole. The teaching professional from Arroyo Trabuco Golf Club in Mission Viejo, Calif., will be the first to tee off Thursday morning. He is one of 21 PGA members part of the Corebridge Financial Team in the field this week.

World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler, a New Father, Reflects on Career

Scheffler’s first son, Bennett, was born last week, giving him a chance to reflect on his career and life at home while holding his newborn. Scheffler celebrated his wife Meredith’s first Mother’s Day on Sunday and her birthday on Monday before arriving at Valhalla.

Trophies, Trophies, Trophies

The Wanamaker Trophy got its close up with the NHL's Stanley Cup and the NBA's Larry O' Brien trophies, which are awarded to the champions of their respective leagues.
