Questions about the Stephen King short story Gramma

Discussion

One of my all time favorite of his stories. Saw the Twilight Zone episode it was in and went out and got the book the next day.

1)How did Aunt Flo know that bit about telling her to "lie down in the name of Hastur" ? Was she a witch (or Mythos cultist ) too?

2) Also, what did she mean by Hastur being the grandmother's taken father? What does that mean?
