She is survived by : her spouse Thomas Paul Chidester; her children, Jeanne Carlisle (Timothy) of Romeoville, Thomas Chidester (Connie) of Naperville and Kevin Chidester (Karintha Marshall) of Long Beach, CA; her grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Olivia Carlisle and Logan Chidester; her sister Carol Rothenburgh (late Fred); and her siblings-in-law, Mary Nix (George), Carol Bracci (late Reno), Dorothy Ebenhoeh (Guy), John Chidester (Becky) and Edward Chidester (Maureen).

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 15th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Overman-Jones Funeral Home (15219 Joliet Rd, Plainfield, IL 60544). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, May 16th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Spirit Catholic Community (2003 Hassert Blvd, Naperville, IL 60564). A graveside service was held on Thursday, May 16th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the All Saints Cemetery (700 N River Rd, Des Plaines, IL 60016).
