Using drones to battle graffiti

That's not battling graffiti, it's providing new, clean surfaces for graffiti "artists".

"The WSDOT maintenance crew in Tacoma is testing drone technology that can remove graffiti from hard-to-reach places. The drones could make quick work of painting over graffiti on tall retaining walls, bridges, and overpasses."
While I see why they don't want their workers to perform the death-defying stunt work the taggers used, those places apparently weren't hard-enough-to-reach places, since there is graffiti there.

So the next logical step is "Drone graffiti artist" ? Just think high rises can now be tagged.
