Dig, Drive, Lift & Play During The Month Of May with genAG

Orange. Orange! Orange as far as the eye can see! genAG hosts their Big Orange Event on May 15th, highlighting Kubota’s brightest and best products, parts, and services.

Katelin Letkeman and John Roulette with genAG are eager to share their plans for the event, highlighting that you don’t have to be a farmer to be part of the Kubota fan club.

“This time of year, our most popular items are ones for residential applications,” Roulette shares. “Lots of sub-compact tractors, zero-turn mowers, RTVs, that sort of thing. We have a big sale going on right now focused on sub-compact tractors. There will be discounts on attachments as well, if you purchase a tractor.”

“So the cool thing is, the power unit discounts are running all month long, not just on that day,” Letkeman clarifies. “So it’s not like you have to purchase on May 15th- you have the whole month to make your decision. We’re talking up to $1000 off some really awesome power units. Plus, we’re also going to be offering really good service discounts, and some parts discounts as well… but you’ll have to come by to find out what those are!”

The theme of this family-friendly is, you guessed it, orange. Complimentary orange snacks. Orange face paint. Bright orange decorations. And plenty of Kubota-orange tools and machinery for guests to test out. This event has been hosted across many Kubota dealerships for a number of years to display what’s new and exciting, as well as connect with the community.

“We’re going to do Touch A Truck this year, too, so kids can get inside the vehicles. They can play around and, you know, get a little familiarized with these things. I think it’s good for safety as well as education.”

There will also be products on display, staff on hand to answer your questions, and plenty of lawn games including obstacle courses with zero-turn mowers and RTVs.

“One of the things I’m most excited for is the excavator pin drop.” Roulette explains. “You operate a mini excavator. There’s a tennis ball hanging from a rope off the bucket, and you have to place the ball on top of a pylon. It’s a lot harder than it sounds!”

The event also includes dinner hosted by the local 4H beef clubs, who have volunteered to serve. Attendants are invited to bring a monetary donation, but Letkeman stresses that it is not expected by any means. Overall, the staff at genAG hope to spend time with clients, have a little bit of tractor chat, and enjoy the day together.

“We’re pretty excited! Really, we’re hoping the kids leave with orange mustaches- that’s the real goal!” Letkeman jokes.
