Would Spacek count, since that's a music biopic?

I considered this too, but I ultimately decided to include her. Wikipedia defines CMD as a musical and unlike Rami Malek, who I excluded from the male poll, she recorded her own renditions.

Maybe an unpopular opinion but I think Julie andrews should have won for sound of music instead of Mary poppins
