Have you tried checking the application status of each prison in the group separately? The group application is mainly for payment purposes, and while you can view the status of all the applications using the group details, each application is separate and can be checked separately using the passport details of each applicant.

Select “Check Individual Status” rather than “Check Group Status” on the official ESTA site and enter the details of group members one at a time to see their current application status.

ESTA approvals can take more than 4 days. The timescales vary, I wouldn’t be concerned at this stage.
