Shear line, easterlies to bring clouds, rain showers over PH

A shear line and the easterlies will bring clouds and rain showers in parts of the country on Sunday, PAGASA said in its weather forecast.

Batanes and Babuyan Islands may expect cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the shear line affecting Extreme Northern Luzon. Moderate to at times heavy rains may possibly result in flash floods or landslides.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country meanwhile may have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies. During severe thunderstorms, flash floods or landslides may occur.

Coastal waters will be slight to moderate throughout the country.

Sunrise was at 5:27 a.m. while sunset will be at 6:18 p.m.
