Late Telugu actor Chandrakanth Challa’s last Instagram posts reflected his state of anguish at losing his wife Pavithra Jayaram

Going through the last Instagram posts of @chandrakanth_artist will give you the same sensation as watching a trainwreck. The final posts of the ‘Trinayani’ star Chandrakanth Challa, leave you with a sense of foreboding. A mere three days after his wife and ‘Trinayani’ co-star Pavithra Jayaram passed away, the actor committed suicide.

He was discovered dead in his residence in Telangana on May 15. In a statement to the police, Challa’s father revealed that his son had been in a state of depression for the last few days.

The actor’s despondency is evident from his penultimate posts. It consisted of reminiscing about his time with Jayaram and long, eloquent posts about the late actress and the void she left in his life. His last post was a cute selfie with the late actress that read, “Good morning nana.. It’s time for gym.. Just our coach called (crying emojis)... I love you papa..”. In the preceding post, he shared a montage of the late actress and left a cryptic message, asking her to “wait” for two more-days. After the news of his death broke on the Internet, netizens flooded the comment section, mourning the loss of the two stars and lamenting at why they did not notice the caption.

There’s also a post where he implores his wife to come back and “wipe his tears.."Papa netho digina last pic raa (cry emojis) not able to digest to left me alone, okasari mama aniii piluveee plsss @pavithrajayaram_chandar. My Pavi is no more (cry and pray emojis) pls ra come back plsss. (This is the last picture I took with you, I'm unable to digest you left me alone. Please call out for me once again. My Pavi is no more, please come back)." He also wrote on his Instagram stories, "Papa pls come back raaa. Pls nee mama kannilu aaplu. (Please come back and wipe my tears.)" he wrote.

Challa was fairly active on Instagram. He had about 34K followers. He often shared cute pictures and videos with his wife. He was also a fitness junkie and frequently dropped pictures of himself at the gym.

Jayaram passed away in a road accident in May 12. The incident took place in Hyderabad. According to an IANs report, Jayaram’s car collided into a moving bus. Although Chandrakanth survived the accident, the ‘Trinayani’ actress passed away on the spot.
