Minecraft has released a new free map to celebrate the franchise's 15th anniversary. Mojang introduced Minecraft to players in 2011, revealing a charismatic sandbox world made of blocks. Over time, Minecraft has grown to become one of the biggest hits in the video game industry.

In Minecraft, players survive as long as possible until they become strong enough to defeat the Ender Dragon. But despite having a final boss, Minecraft is a tool for players to create adventures that go far beyond defeating the powerful mob. In 15 years, Minecraft players have created mods that have added countless features, or data packs that have completely transformed Minecraft's appearance. Minecraft is a huge success loved by millions of players, and to mark this year's anniversary, Mojang is giving the community a new gift.
