Rafael Reis Guardiola’s City seeking title to become greatest in England’s history

Manchester City from the ‘Guardiola era’ is one win away from being able to claim the title of the team in the history of English.

If they defeat West Ham tomorrow at the Etihad Stadium, the Citizens will be the first team to achieve four consecutive titles in the English Premier League, the oldest national league in the world.

Prior the generation of Kevin de Bruyne, Ederson, Foden, and Walker, only four other teams have been actual English champions three times in the 125 years of the competition: Huddersfield Town (1924, 1925, and 1926), Arsenal (1933, 1934, and 1935), Liverpool (1982, 1983, and 1984), and Manchester United (1999, 2000, and 2001).
