Whoever it is they need to be connected to a great scouting network, big club so we can get in some decent players not quite and some good loans. 

The problem with a lot of those is that they are old school and football has moved on so much.

Yes of course it is-there’s not a chance in hell either of them or Rooney are coming here. One hopes that there’s equally no chance for the likes of Scott Parker and as for Houghton…

First 2 names on the list look interesting though. The reality is that, unlike when Smith went, I’m sure they’ve got their replacement lined up in their heads at least.

Cuesta aged 28 and Still 31. Maybe good to see some youth but why not in the Boardroom? Still is English but career largely in Belgium recently managed Reims in France where they got fined each match he was without his UEFA badges. Cuesta has a large part of his training at Athletico currently with Arsenal. Easy to see why he is favourite. Mind you they train them well in Spain so could be a good choice.
