Hulu Live vs YouTube tv vs Direct Tv

I have tried YouTube tv , Direct tv and Hulu Live each for 30 days. Hulu Live has all the classic tv shows I enjoy and the interface feels better. I guess what the final determination is what works best for you.

That’s really what it comes down to. It’s what works best for you. For me it was a cost savings as I was paying for 4 different streaming services. I was able to consolidate it down to one service, Hulu Live. And I really enjoy it.

I like channels on Hulu live but YouTube tv has a better working app especially when it comes to recording stuff We have Hulu live now as channels are more important to us

My favorite experience is DirecTV using their box/remote. Just being able to tune to a channel via # or first letter of the channel is fantastic. Plus being able to page up/down, all the shortcut buttons, ... I just don't need all those channels to justify the price. Sling would be fine but wife needs CourtTV so we pay for YTTV.

Direct TV is simply too expensive. Hulu Live is great for certain specific channels such as Science, History, FYI (if you like Barrett Jackson auctions those are the channels to have). Otherwise if you don’t care about that stuff YouTube TV.

I too have used all three of these services. Hulu Live is good BUT the channels will always reload when a program ends and starts a new program on the same channel AND I’ve had the app lock up on me numerous times. I’m also not a fan of how all the channels are organized alphabetically. YTV interface is great but they are missing stuff I like such as Vice, History, Science ect. DirecTV may be pricey but they have everything and the picture quality is superb. You get what you pay for I suppose. I’ll stick with DirecTV Stream.

The only one that seems to be able to get 5.1 audio right for my HomePods setup on my Apple TV is Hulu Live.
