A video featuring an AI-generated version of Reid Hoffman has ignited social media where Mr. Hoffman is seen engaging in conversation with a journalist.

This comes on the heels of Mr. Hoffman unveiling a video where he interacts with his own deepfake.

In response, Paytm founder Vijay Shekhar Sharma raises an intriguing question about the term "digital twins" possibly referring to his AI counterpart.

He posts on X, "So 'Digital Twins.' Will that a legit new term for your AI version?"

How LinkedIn CEO created his digital twin

Explaining the process in a blog post, the LinkedIn co-founder disclosed that Hour One generates his video avatar, while 11ElevenLabs handles voice cloning.

"My latest experiment involves creating an AI-generated version of myself. I initially had reservations about it, but I was curious to explore how interacting with a digital twin might spark new ideas or connections," Mr. Hoffman shared.

Mr. Hoffman sees these avatars as reflective mirrors, offering insights into one's ideas and personality. 

He views this experiment as a work in progress, excited to delve deeper into how AI and video can enhance content accessibility and dynamism.
