Description

1971 "Into the Turn" Horseracing Original Painting by LeRoy Neiman. Absolutely spellbinding work is everything that we love about LeRoy Neiman--the crazy color palette, the daring use of multiple media, the frenetic lines that convey a sense of speed and danger. There's so much going on here that we're sure to miss something, but we're seeing watercolor, acrylic paint and charcoal pencil in this swirl of color and thundering hooves. It's a particularly large work on paper as well, measuring 20x28" inside the window of the mat. Neiman signs and dates the work in pencil at lower right. Framed dimensions are 28x35".
