Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty) has a party to remember coming up in EastEnders next week, as she looks forward to her wedding to Zack Hudson (James Farrar).
Lauren Branning (Jacqueline Jossa) is consumed with guilt over her secret passion with the groom-to-be, and Bianca (Patsy Palmer) is on the brink of exposing all.
But while Bianca then gets distracted with a surprise liaison, no-one expects what’s to come next for Whitney as she finds herself in a serious situation
In other developments, George Knight (Colin Salmon) puts his life at risk once again, while Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) and Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe) clash once more.
And the teens are dabbling in dangerous steroids…
Monday May 13
Elaine arrives back at The Vic and is deflated when George seems unfazed by her departure. Cindy arrives and reveals George is set to fight as the Knight women try convince him otherwise but he remains firm in his position.
Gina tries to blackmail George out of the fight, but to no avail. Elaine orders Cindy to leave and is later comforted by Anna.
Anna makes a last-minute attempt to stop the fight and leaves a message with Junior.
Amy becomes jealous of Denzel and Ebony’s budding friendship and confides in Penny that she wants to sleep with Denzel. Penny states she should only take that step if she’s ready before Amy heads to No.20 for Denzel’s party, and asks to spend some alone time with him upstairs.
Bianca enlists Britney’s help to acquire items for Whitney’s wedding when she fails to haggle the prices with the market traders, but Britney soon gets up to her old tricks again.
Whitney is thrilled with Bianca and Britney’s efforts as the trio share an emotional moment as Whitney tries on her wedding dress but it’s short-lived when Britney accidentally lets slip about her and Bianca’s earlier antics.
Yolande decides to take a holiday with Patrick for some reprieve from Walford after Levi assures her it won’t stall her investigation.
Yolande tells Denzel Denise or Chelsea will move in with him, but Denzel has other ideas and asks Yolande to allow him to prove he can be trusted to live on his own…
Tuesday May 14
George is in shock to be face-to-face with Junior and calls off the fight. Junior makes his excuses to leave The Vic after feeling out of place, and heads to Peggy’s where he meets Bianca. The pair head back to No.25 and the two end up sleeping together.
Whitney riles at Bianca for allowing Britney to steal and relinquishes her of her Maid of Honour duties and orders her out of her life.
Lauren arrives at No.3B and saves the day by sourcing Whitney a hen outfit before Whitney asks her to be her Maid of Honour. Lauren accepts but it’s clear her and Zack are consumed by their guilt…
Amy and Denzel attempt to sleep with each other, but Denzel has difficulties because of the steroids. Amy tries to make him feel better, but he tries to cover and offends her in the process.
Later, Nugget finds Amy in McKlunky’s and tries to cheer her up but she baulks when he misreads the situation by trying to kiss her.
Back at home, Penny misreads Amy’s quietness for coyness, but she soon worries as Amy’s upset becomes apparent…
Wednesday May 15
It’s Whitney and Zack’s Sten-do, as the residents of Walford prepare to dress up to celebrate the happy couple. Whitney is not in the forgiving mood towards Bianca, but she soon becomes jealous as Lauren is painted as a saint.
Bianca gives Lauren an ultimatum – she has to tell Whitney she slept with Zack or Bianca will. Lauren attempts to share doubts about Zack to Whitney, but she bottles it at the last minute.
Bianca arrives to console Whitney before Penny intervenes by luring them both to the taco van under false pretences before locking them in.
It’s icy between the pair as Lauren prepares to reveal all but they’re interrupted when Whitney’s waters break.
Penny insists Amy must hold Denzel and Nugget accountable for their behaviour, but she reasons that talking is the answer.
Nugget lies to Denzel that Amy kissed him, before Denzel arrives and breaks up with Amy.
Later in the Minute Mart, Amy gives Nugget some home truths as he starts to worry about his friendships.
Elaine tries to speak to a distracted George, but he dismisses her and heads to Peggy’s with Junior where he reveals all about his true identity and Eddie’s trial.
Kat arranges a celebratory meal for Alfie and the boys at Walford East following the end of his hormone therapy, much to his surprise.
Later, Tommy asks Alfie if he wants to get back with Kat after spying his behaviour towards her.
Thursday May 16
Whitney panics as she faces giving birth in the taco van when Lauren’s phone battery dies and their desperate cries for help go unanswered. Zack attempts to look for Whitney but he is soon distracted by the entertainment.
Tommy attempts to play matchmaker between Kat and Alfie, as he takes the twins home.
Nugget continues to questions his friendships after a run-in with Penny and an awkward encounter with Ebony at the Boxing Den, and later pleads with Denzel to give him steroids wrongly assuming they are the answer.
