Missy Elliott’s first-ever headlining tour is shaping up to be one of the must-attend events of the summer. With a name like the OUT OF THIS WORLD – The Missy Elliott Experience Tour and a lineup that includes fellow legends Ciara, Busta Rhymes and Timbaland, we expect nothing less than a mind-blowing, next-level series of concerts. After dropping her historic tour news at the beginning of April, Missy is giving fans even more opportunities to experience this show with a slate of new dates.
By popular demand, the Live Nation and Mona Scott-Young co-produced tour has added six more concerts to the schedule, for a total of 30 dates throughout North America. Elliott will now perform two nights of shows in four select cities while adding two new cities to her inaugural outing.
The locations getting a double dose of Missy, Ciara, Busta and Timbo are Los Angeles, Atlanta, Toronto and Rosemont, Illinois, where the OUT OF THIS WORLD Tour is now scheduled to end on Friday, August 23rd. The brand-new cities added to the itinerary are Orlando and Cleveland.
Missy is as excited to go on tour as her fans are to see her perform live. “I’m Humbly GRATEFUL,” she wrote on Instagram when she shared the news of the additional tour dates. The outpouring of love and support from around the world for OUT OF THIS WORLD has been amazing for the rapper, singer and soon-to-be actress in Pharrell Williams’ forthcoming musical film co-starring Halle Bailey, Kelvin Harrison Jr., Brian Tyree Henry and Da’Vine Joy Randolph.
