Krishna Shroff reveals how her brother Tiger Shroff reacted to her participation in Khatron Ke Khiladi 14: ‘He was in shock…’

Krishna mentioned that she is not trying to think too much about her participation in the show, stating it wasn’t an easy decision. She shared, “I have mixed emotions. I feel like I am ready to get there. While physicality does play a part, I think it is more about mental strength. From some previous episodes, I have gauged that some people who have never hit the gym are more dominating. Once you can conquer the mind, the rest will follow. I don’t want to go overprepared because if things don’t go as planned, it will throw me off. So I’d rather go with the flow.”

“It was not an easy decision to take. The show came to me two years ago and at that time, I didn’t think I was ready. It was a huge challenge because everyone is in a very vulnerable position on the show. It is so raw and unfiltered. I felt back then I lacked the confidence that I have now to put myself out there. When they came back to me, with a little convincing, I felt like I needed to risk a little bit because you never know what would come out of it. It is a huge opportunity. I am looking to connect to a much larger audience with this,” Krishna added.

Her brother Tiger Shroff, one of the biggest action stars in Bollywood, was the very first one to know about Krishna Shroff’s new endeavour. The Khatron Ke Khiladi contestant reveals she went straight to the gym after signing the contract and informed her brother about it. When asked how he reacted to the news, Krishna shared, “Tiger was in shock. He didn’t believe it was happening until I shot for the promo a few days ago. I called him from the vanity and said I had a newfound respect for what he did because this was hard. At first, he had a good laugh about it. He said you got to be a little ballsy to do this as it’s not everyone’s cup of tea. For me, to make my debut in the TV world, I feel like I have chosen the hardest show to be a part of. My parents and Tiger have been supportive.”

Krishna also revealed that both Jackie Shroff and Ayesha Shroff were hesitant. She said, “It is not just new for me but for the whole family. Initially, my parents were a little hesitant. They are parents at the end of the day, so there are always going to be some nerves. I am the younger one, and going for the first time on an outdoor shoot for this long is a little worrisome.”

While Khatron Ke Khiladi host Rohit Shetty is working with Tiger Shroff and Jackie Shroff in Singham Again, with Krishna Shroff joining the show, the entire family is working with the hit director. Talking about the same, Krishna said, “It’s a new world and I am excited to embrace it. To finally work with Rohit sir who is now working with my family. I live for these experiences. I have always been adventurous. As a child I was more fearless than I am now. Before these experiences, I need to channel that inner child in me.”

Krishna Shroff also revealed that she is claustrophobic. This trigger dates back to when Krishna was 10 years old and got stuck in an elevator. But that is not the worst thing that happened to her. Something that was even more traumatic was Krishna’s painful encounter with a sea urchin. Narrating the incident, she shared. “The worst thing that has ever happened to me is that… I had no idea what a sea urchin was before I stepped on one in Goa. While I was kayaking, a wave toppled me over and I stepped on the rock, where spikes of a sea urchin went in my foot. I lifted my foot and there were just these spikes sticking out. I tried to rip them out as soon as possible, but a month later, I saw something poking at the top of my foot and went for an x-ray. There was a spike in my foot still. It made its way up. I couldn’t walk because of it. It was very painful.”

Lastly, Krishna shared her wish to jump off a helicopter right into the water on the show. However, she is uncertain about what would happen when she is locked inside a box with some animal. But above all of it, Krishna parted ways, saying that she is doing the show for the recognition.
