With nothing much left to salvage in the current season, Al Nassr has begun looking ahead. Cristiano Ronaldo and Co. are already future-focused, aiming to start the new campaign with a clean slate. Beyond team preparations, including strengthening their squad, some significant off-pitch developments are also underway. Notably, this change is happening for the first time in four years for the Knights of Najd.

We might get to see a new face of the Al Nassr logo very soon. According to the reports from Al-Eqtisadiah and compiled by @Nfcdiario, the Emirati company Home has completed the design and implementation of the new logo for the Al Nassr. While the design hasn’t been revealed yet, it might be used by the Riyadh side in the upcoming season. Notably, this would be the seventh time in the club’s history that the logo is being changed. 

The Al Nassr’s crest underwent changes several times over the years, with the last modification occurring in 2020. Prior to this, the logo had undergone significant revisions at various intervals. From 1955 to 1971, the logo remained the same before a change took place in 1971, which lasted until 2009. Interestingly, this logo persisted for nearly four decades before another alteration occurred in 2009, lasting until 2011. 

Now it seems a look of the crest is set to be donned by Ronaldo and Co. in the impending 2024/25 domestic season. It would be interesting to see how well the Emirati company has worked to make it different. If it manages to impress fans then it will certainly boost the club’s identity. Meanwhile, speaking of other developments, Al Nassr is in line to receive a major cash injection.

According to various reports, Al Nassr is allegedly set to receive a significant cash influx ahead of the upcoming transfer window. This financial boost is expected to come from the Al-Muhaidib group, led by Ibrahim Al-Muhaidib, who is aiming to become the club’s president. The Saudi Arabian conglomerate is anticipated to provide substantial financial support to the club in the near future. However, this backing seems to be strategically aimed at garnering enough votes for Al-Muhaidib to secure the presidency of Al Nassr’s board of directors. 

The departure of sporting director Goran Vucevic and President Musalli Al Muammar has created vacancies on Al Nassr’s board, which the Al-Muhaidib group intends to fill by offering the necessary financial resources in exchange. This support will allow the club to make ambitious moves in the transfer market.
