I read with some amazement the letter "Redistricting not answer for voters questioning Stefanik," Feb. 6, on behalf of the League of Women Voters. With all the good the League of Women Voters does, can it really be that clueless about gerrymandering?

I live in Saratoga Springs. Just look at the current map of the 21st Congressional District. It is a nice block until Saratoga Springs, which is specifically cut out of that district. There happens to be a very liberal college and a small city, which was unnaturally shoved into the 20th. By doing this, it was made sure our voices will be drowned out, lumping us in with the larger Albany and Schenectady, and leaving us out of our actual neighborhood.

It would be nice if pure population density dictated these district lines, but they have always been drawn with a political bent. The 21st District should be redrawn, and Saratoga Springs placed back where we belong.
