SARATOGA SPRINGS – More than 200 Capital Region student dancers, singers, musicians, poets and visual artists performed alongside acclaimed modern dance company Pilobolus Saturday as the 2021 Adirondack Trust Company Festival of Young Artist returned to the Saratoga Performing Arts Center.

The event was presented as a guided journey through an immersive, outdoor celebration of live performance, poetry and art. Among the groups to perform were the Empire State Youth Orchestra, Capital District Youth Chorale, Capital District Youth Pipe Band, Schenectady High School Dance Connection and Northeast Ballet Company.

Due to COVID-19 health and safety concerns, the festival was reconfigured into a guided journey through the SPAC grounds with timed performances and scheduled arrival times for guests, conceived and directed by Pilobolus and inspired by theme of metamorphosis.
