SOUTH LOS ANGELES (KTLA) — The annual Jackson Limousine Service Turkey Giveaway is happening Tuesday morning in South Los Angeles.

People have been lined up for days to get a box with turkey and all the Thanksgiving trimmings.

The giveaway was started 30 years ago by owner E.J. Jackson. He says that it’s his way of giving back to the community that has given him so much success.

Last year, more than 10,000 people waited in line for the free Thanksgiving meals.

Dinners will be handed out from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Jackson Limousine Service, located at 3669 West Slauson Avenue, between West Blvd and Dean.
