Waking up to very warm and muggy conditions this morning.
A few showers and storms from overnight will continue to taper off early, leaving us hot and dry for the rest of the day.
Highs today will once again top out around 90 degrees, with the heat index pushing into the upper 90s.
High school football looks dry tonight, but it’ll still be pretty warm with game-time temps in the 80s.
Expect a mix of sun and clouds on Saturday, and a mainly dry day, with only a slight chance of a few scattered showers/storms as a weak front crosses the state.
Sunday looks much more comfortable, with plenty of sunshine and highs near 80 degrees.
We stay fairly quiet for much of the upcoming workweek.
A cold front on Tuesday could give us some scattered rain, before dropping highs next Wednesday and Thursday into the mid-upper 70s.
