Shopping right now will either be a street bob or lowrider s. I plan to build witchever I get this winter on layoff. So my question is this is there an inherent plus to the 117 over the 114 if im already gonna take it to a 128/131 haven't decided with path to go there not worried about ergos or the mater since I'll be changing all that anyway. Like is there a benefit to the 117 over the 114 once built or are they internally the same strength.
I recently picked up a 2005 Softail Deluxe. The previous owner installed LED lighting and everything works perfectly, signals flash and auto cancel, etc. However, it throws these two codes and flash the signals at startup to let me know that there is a code. According to the previous owner, they bought the LEDs with a built in resistor so they work and don't hyper flash.
Aside from going back to the older style bulbs, is there anything I can do so the bike doesn't keep throwing error codes for it? Somewhere to start troubleshooting?
I like the look of bikes that have a chopper lean to them. What can I do to my bike that'll make it lean a little more? It is forks or changing the kickstand? I have a 2012 Sportster.
