Forecast in detail
Today won’t be nearly as beautiful as yesterday, with clouds and some midday showers, maybe a thundershower. A few more showers and thundershowers could come through this evening. More showers are possible at times late Friday into the weekend, though forecast confidence is fairly low. Temperatures, while fluctuating up and down the next few days, remain generally mild before a cooler Sunday.
Today (Wednesday): Most likely timing for showers and possibly a thundershower to move through from west to east is late morning into midafternoon. Otherwise we’re partly to mostly cloudy with temperatures rising from the 50s early this morning, to afternoon highs in the 70s, with light winds from the southeast. Confidence: Medium
Tonight: A few more showers and thundershowers could pass through during the evening to around midnight, then skies may partially clear overnight with lows in the mid- to upper 50s. Confidence: Medium

Tomorrow (Thursday): Back to partly sunny skies and trending warmer again. Highs head for the mid-70s to near 80 with a steady midday breeze from the northwest around 10 to 15 mph. Confidence: Medium-High
Tomorrow night: Increasing clouds as our next system starts to approach from the west. Lows should settle near 50 to the mid-50s. Confidence: Medium-High
A look ahead
Mostly cloudy skies keep us somewhat cooler on Friday with highs in the upper 60s to mid-70s. Some showers are possible late Friday afternoon into the night as a cold front comes through. Friday night lows dip to the upper 40s and low 50s. Confidence: Low-Medium
The potential for showers this weekend depends on the location of a cold front. If it hangs out nearby, we would have a higher chance of showers. If it pushes far enough to our south, we would have a lower chance. Models have been trending farther south for the front, potentially keeping our shower chances lower, but there is still time for the forecast to shift. Saturday highs should be in the mid-60s to near 70, followed by cooler Sunday highs in the low to mid-60s. Confidence: Low-Medium
