there is "throughout the course or duration of" its example or meaning(synonyms) of " في "
can you clear it.
An example might help في الحرب العالمية الثانية دمرت الشعوب بعضها During/throughout world war 2, nations destroyed each other.
Almaany is not going to be a good dictionary for learners. Its extremely comprehensive and many of the meanings it will include are not in common use. Its helpful for advanced learners who already have a strong vocab and grasp of grammar, and are looking for more sophisticated modes of expression.
I am a native speaker and the only usage I know of في is: In / Within
If this website is meant for learners then it sucks and you should rely on something else.
It has many other usages:
How is this useful for someone who is trying to learn the language? What percentage of native speakers give a single shit about that? This will only confuse them. One can find 100 meanings of a single word where most of them are just archaic and no one uses them anymore.
I really can't believe that someone would look at this terrible website and say it's good for learners. Just take a look at linguee or Duden for German or spanishdict for spanish or Cambridge Learner's Dictionary for English. there is not even a comparison.
I feel sorry for the people that are trying to learn the language .. no wonder why most of them just give up.
It's useful for native speakers and learners who want to read more than just news articles and tweets.
More like it is meant for learners whose Arabic is already very advanced (which is a tiny minority).
It has nothing to do with advanced Arabic. Dictionaries will list multiple meanings for a word if they exists, that is true for any language. And multiple uses for prepositions are not an advanced concept.
Also, native speakers are totally different from leaners. I know Dutch instinctively, I know what is correct and incorrect, but don't ask me to describe it. Learners don't have that, they need things spelled out. I also look at Dutch grammar and think what the hell is this overcomplicated nonsense.
btw, I also hate almaany. The layout and presentation of information is terrible. But the information itself is not.
Are you trying to say in German or Germany?
Because German in a langauge, بال needs to used before it.
And Germany as state, it is called Almannia. :)
You have many meaning of fy in both Arabic and English.
