The U.S. ladies struggled in Tuesday night's short program, with Mirai Nagasu and Bradie Tennell taking spills. Karen Chen also had to steady herself with her hand, adding to the tough night. It's an uphill battle to the podium for the U.S. women, with Nagasu, Chen and Tennell sitting in ninth, 10th and 11th, respectively. The free program and gold medal final will be on Thursday night, wrapping up figure skating for 2018's Games. Two Russians, Alina Zagitova and Evgenia Medvedeva hold the top two spots heading into the free program.

Looking back, Nathan Chen redeemed himself in the men's free skate after falling flat in the short program. He landed six quad jumps to score a 297.35, and although he finished in fifth, it was a huge confidence booster for the 18-year-old. Japan's Yuzuru Hanyu took gold in an incredible run, and although Chen's 215.08 was the best free skate score, his 82.27 short program score made the odds of gold very slim. Vincent Zhou took sixth, while Adam Rippon took 10th, again electing to not attempt any quads.

Ice dancing wrapped up on Monday night, with Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir bringing home gold for Canada. Maia & Alex Shibutani took bronze for the USA, extending the U.S. medal count. France's Gabriella Papadakis and Guillaume Cizeron took silver after enduring a slight wardrobe malfunction.

As for the remaining program, the women will be competing on Thursday to close out figure skating in Pyeongchang.

Note: All of these events will be broadcast live.
