I used to live in Michigan and all the Taco Bells around me had the chili cheese burrito. Now that I no longer live there and haven't seen a chili cheese burrito on a Taco Bell menu in years, I'm realizing I took it for granted. It was hands down one of my favorite things on the menu. Does anyone know of a current updated list of taco bells confirmed to have this item? I'm currently out on the west coast and I've been keeping an eye out to no avail. Any information would be appreciated!

Me too. Good god I miss these
no chili cheese burrito here in SF.. but we dont even get breakfast, the taco bells here are bottom bitch level
SF has the worst Taco Bells for sure. The one on Drumm charges two to three times normal prices (Box meals are 9.99... daredevil grillers are 3.59 each) and the one in the Tenderloin doesn't get quite a few of the menu items, including the special flavors of Mountain Dew.
yup..I live right by the one in the TL. I feel the pain
SF now has a Taco Bell with a the elusive chili cheese burrito on the menu!!! The new Taco Bell Cantina at 710 3rd St. has them. I ordered one almost as a question today ("I'd like a... chilli cheese burrito?...") and was overjoyed when it worked. Citizens of SF rejoice!
We still have it here in Michigan. Hope I helped!
(Tear strolls down my face, "you don't know what you got till its gone" is playing in the background) Damn you beautiful Michigan!!
At select locations in Michigan*. Every store in Southeast Michigan has not carried it as a regular item in years.
It popped up when the Chili Cheese Fries Griller came out but it didn't stay.
which location?
Dude, did you see how old the post you responded to was, lol? Chili cheese burritos are long gone.
Lol some locations still have them. It’s like a secret menu item. There’s some in Michigan but idk which ones
You do!? Where? :D
Sweet mother of god. Thank you so much!
Here's some trivia for you: It came out in 1986. Currently, the chilito is named the "chili cheese burrito" because the word "chilito" means "penis" in certain slang Spanish dialects. Also, you will very rarely find the chili cheese burrito advertised on the actual published menu at your local Taco Bell. In fact, according to this interesting website: www.chilicheese.org, only 12% of Taco Bells nationwide will even make one for you. I believe this figure to be a bit low because I buy them quite frequently at stores located in Indiana and Illinois and Michigan. I will say, however, that it is NOT listed on the published menu. I've had to ask for it by name, and in some cases, the kid at the register has had to get a manager to confirm what a chili cheese burrito actually is, it's availability, cost and how to ring it up.

Probably a good call!
Truer words have never been spoken... taking a classic menu item for granted until it's too late. The chili cheese burrito is a freaking thing of beauty, I agree. And it's gone from my area as well. :(
Anyone here remember the original enchirito with a soft corn tortilla? I loved the simplicity of it, and really for American-Mexican food it's got fairly authentic flavors. back in the day you could sub salsa verde, which was the ultimate Taco Bell thing at the time, I thought.
The original enchirito was awesome! I really miss the old school lay outs of the buildings with the nice patio that was usually some what covered. Was just a nice relaxing place to go and grab some nice, inexpensive, filling food that tasted great. Good times.
I still have the enchirto. It is glorious.
You can technically still get the chili cheese burrito. Found it on the secret menu. Can't link it since I'm on mobile.
According to the article they say to add chili cheese to any burrito, which would require the location to stock the Chili mix, which most do not.
Cincinnati chili cheese checking in!
i had a chili cheese burrito in Kelowna a couple weeks ago. It was small and very sad looking :/
That's why you get 6!
not at over $2 each :/ Quesorito was good though
Anyone else remember ChiliCheese.org?
I recently had a chili cheese burrito at the Taco Bell located on the CA/NV state line!
How recent? Don't make me drive down there for nothing.
It was two weeks ago. It's not on the menu but you can still order it.
They're no longer on the menu here in my city but you can still order them. They are sooooo good.
It's not the same, but we used to do 'cheater chili' (beef mixed with red sauce and nacho cheese) for chili cheese burritos. It's essentially a beef burrito with nacho cheese added with extra cheese and steamed. It will have onions in it unless you ask them to leave them off.
Central Ohio checking in. We've always had chili cheese!
Probably too late, but I just had one in St. Paul Minnesota. It was delicious.
