No one was seriously hurt when a Toyota Camry smashed through the plate glass window of a UPS store in Deerfield Beach on Friday, according to Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue.

It happened around 4 p.m. on the 1100 block of S. Military Trail.

The store manager and two employees were inside at the time. Two women were in the car, but none of them was injured, Fire Rescue spokesman Mike Jachles said.

“No structural damage,” he said. “[It was] mostly the plate glass window and the aluminum frame.”

The driver got out and was extremely apologetic. No charges were pending.

Fire Rescue checked out everyone at the scene and no one required hospital treatment, officials said.
