Oh no, Butch Jones.

The former Tennessee head coach had a rough start to the 2023 season Saturday afternoon. Jones’ Arkansas State Red Wolves fell to No. 20 Oklahoma by a score of 73-0 in a game that was 14-0 less than 2 minutes in.

Sure, it’s Oklahoma, but that’s brutal.

Arkansas State totaled just 208 yards to Oklahoma’s 642. Starting QB JT Shrout, who used to play for Tennessee and Colorado, completed just 12 of his 26 attempts for 148 yards. 23 rushing attempts from the Red Wolves yielded just 48 rushing yards, too.

This is Butch Jones’ 3rd year at Arkansas State. As you can expect, plenty of fans were calling for him to be fired Saturday afternoon.
