These are good for the price. easy setup. No USB audio to deal with, just AUX jack and power. The cable that runs between the speakers is about 4ft I think, so good for most desks. If your are looking for quality audio speakers for mastering or something, this is not your jam, but they are perfect for day to day stuff like surfing the internet, listening to podcasts etc. Compared to my pro audio setup for mastering they sound lame. But that is a $1,000 setup vs a sub $50 setup. You can always ad a sub if you want more bass but they do have decent bass for their size.
Also, I noticed on some product reviews that the reviewer was turning the volume diel counter-clockwise to turn the volume up. This may be a European standard or something. I purchased these from the US and the volume up, is clockwise like normal.
