Funeral services for William Lincoln Towler Jr., 84, of Rock Mills were Sunday, December 26, 1999, at 2 p.m. at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel, wirh the Rev. Stoney Halsey officiating. Burial was in the Wehadkee Cemetery.
Mr. Towler died Friday, Decembeer 24, at Franklin Health Care Center.
Mr. Towler was a native of Randolph County, born Feb. 23, 1915, son of William L. Towler Sr. and Josie Yarbrough Towler. He was a veteran of World War II and was retired from the textile industry. He was a member of Rock Mills United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Laura Pike of Rock Mills; three sisters, Essie Barfield and Grace Prescott of Rock Mills and Josie Mae Norred of Roanoke; and three grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Jason Pike, Jody Pike, Steve Pike, Jamie Towler, Junior Towler and Maxie Norred.
Arrangements were by Quattlebaum Funeral Home, Roanoke.
