The ABSOLUTE worst place that I have ever worked at.
Upper management does not value their employees and they aren't shy about showing it both through actual words and actions. If you have been there 20 years you are as disposable to them as someone right out of training. People literally get fired weekly without an opportunity to prove their worth. Upper management's goal is too have all new people that they can easily control that won't put up a fight about their shady practices because they don't know any better. Collectors line the bosses pockets while they get next to nothing in return. May the lord be with you if you choose to work there.

Poor management
Collections Representative specialist (Former Employee) - Jeffersonville, IN - January 11, 2024
This place was one of the worst places I've ever worked. We only had 2 weeks traing and most of the traing consisted of the trainer talking about stuff that had absolutely nothing to do with what we needed to learn. He talked about his personal life way to much. Then we were put with our team , and most of them were so rude. It was just a bad experience all the way around. I do not recommend this place to ANYONE!!!
Pros
I like the hours
Cons
Terrible health coverage, rude Management

Prison
Collections Supervisor (Former Employee) - Jeffersonville, IN - December 12, 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? Ucb by far is the worse company to work for. The job add is very misleading and deceptive. This is collections. You are calling and harassing customers about charged off, past due accounts. This is not customer service at all. They will sell you on bonus but they are non existent and unobtainable. If you don’t reach quota they will deduct your pay by the dollar and you have to be commendable 3 months in a row to gain it back. The job is a circus and management is the ring leaders. The environment is hostile and unpleasant. The job is draining and stressful. And to make matters worse, the VP’s are so far removed from the phones and they badger you able what you are not doing right and what you need to do better. There is no support or growth. In the event you are promoted, you may be demoted bc they can’t retain ppl to get the management in their positions. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? The management and environment What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Hostile and draining . No encouragement. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Being yelled at by costumers Saying they have no money.

Don’t do it.
Collections Specialist (Current Employee) - Jeffersonville, IN - September 26, 2023
Absolutely NOT caped at 35-37 hours only able to get 40 if you are at goal or if it’s the end of the month and they have to make quota , no respect for employees turn over rate extremely high. And it is definitely due to management not the job itself .

Not my cup of tea
Collection Agent (Former Employee) - Davie, FL - August 29, 2023
I witnessed a lot of favoritism. Very little coaching for the agents that was struggling I guess that’s why they have such a high turnover rate. I was let go after only working one month and then catching Covid. It’s basically a stressful work environment where you have to make a lot of phone calls. A lot of rules and regulations

Horrible place to work
Collections Specialist (Former Employee) - Jeffersonville, IN - August 17, 2023
the goals are unrealistic and only the same 2 people meet them every month, if you're not constantly improving which is impossible in and of itself then they will fire you. The favorite people get the high dollar accounts. they don't want people to reach goal because they don't want to pay commission, and they want you to get fired because they don't want to have to pay for your health insurance after 90 days. almost No one was reaching goal, so they decreased everyones pay and a bunch of people quit. But they were still hiring in new people at the original amount. the real reason they dropped pay was to save money because they were going through financial difficulties. Hands down the worst job I ever had.
