Pros
Good benefits, good communication, good staff
Cons
Bad scheduling, strict quality assurance
- 1.0Debt CollectorCurrent Employee, less than 1 yearSomerset, KY
Pros
Not anything at this point
Cons
The place is literally ran by the same guy that ran it when it was EOS. That is one part of a larger more problematic equation. The second part is the schedule. Three 8 am to 5 pm shifts, Two 12 pm to 9 pm shifts and Two 4 hour Saturdays a month. These shifts are non negotiable and they refuse to accomodate anyone who has life obligations that fall outside those confines. So if you have anything else going on, don't apply. The third part is nit picky micro management. You can wear Jeans and Tshirts, but god help you if the Tshirt isnt plain. (No graphics unless it has a TSI on it.) Literally they tell you to try to dress like you work in a bank (even though its a call center and no one sees you) You have someone constantly scrutinizing your every move and conversation with co workers even outside and on break. You cannot have your phone out even when you are nowhere near sensitive info such as in the bathroom or hallway. Among other issues: The scripts and policies constantly change leading to call failure and policy violations. When I was in training policy procedure and systems literally changed from day to day. Causing our trainer stress. 16.00 an hour is good for around here. But you can find better places in Somerset KY to work for similar money. Management says its because "Nobody Wants to Work" that they are understaffed No its "No one with prior call center experience or life events wants to work for TSI" This business needs to stop blaming others and look internally at structure, management, policy, subject matter, and schedule. Its a call center. Not rocket science

Pros
Work from home and daily pay
Cons
The scheduling, they have so many hidden guidelines you have to meet and keep up with that don’t affect how you perform your job and on top of that they want you to work 6 different departments and get paid for 1
- 2.0Collections Operations ManagerCurrent Employee, more than 8 yearsCamdenton, MO
Pros
Large forward thinking company in the debt collection and BPO space. lots of opportunity to learn and does not require a degree to move up.
Cons
Disorganized recently made several large acquisitions of other companies leading TSI to start laying off long term employees deemed no longer necessary without transition plans. this also has head to heavy delays regarding IT and other back end teams leading to distrust and loss of confidence from clients that squarely has fallen on client facing management.
