1935-2009

Joseph F. Losacco, 74, of Cheyenne died July 16 at Davis Hospice Center.

He was born Jan. 16, 1935, in Chicago to Frank and Mary (Agozino) Losacco.

Joseph married Winona M. Woodworth on March 18, 1978, in Cheyenne where they resided since that time. Mr. Losacco was a retired engineer with the Wyoming Highway Department. He was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral.

With his love of the outdoors came his enjoyment of hunting, fishing and camping.

He is survived by his wife Winona of Cheyenne; daughter, Joanie (Mike) Taylor of Phoenix; son, Greg (Nga) Losacco of San Francisco; daughter, Lori Losacco of Branford, Conn.; five grandchildren, Kaitlyn (Zachary) Redfield Ortiz of Phoenix; Deborah Taylor of Phoenix; Jordan (Alyssa Arredondo) Redfield of Phoenix; James Taylor of Phoenix; and Timothy Rodgerson of Branford; and his cousin, Connie Cosentino (who he loved as a sister) of Chicago.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Vigil for the deceased will be 4 p.m. today at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes. Funeral Liturgy will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Cathedral with Father Gary Ruzicka as celebrant. Interment will follow at Olivet Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Zachary Redfield Ortiz, Jordan Redfield, James Taylor and Timothy Rodgerson.
