Mansfield Timberview High School Reviews
Rating 3.87 out of 5 720 reviews
At Timberview High School, I've had a diverse and enriching experience. The best part has been the supportive community and dedicated teachers who foster a culture of academic excellence and personal growth. However, the worst part has been the occasional lack of resources and overcrowded classrooms, which can hinder learning opportunities. I would like to see changes in the allocation of resources to ensure all students have access to quality education and smaller class sizes to facilitate more personalized learning experiences. Overall, Timberview has been a positive environment, but improvements can enhance the educational experience for all students.
I think that TimberView is a great school for athletes wanting to play at the next level but when it comes to academics isn't taken seriously. Even though Ben Barber does help I feel that most of the effort is pushed towards sports. The school spirit is there, everyone wants to participate in school activities. Timberview is also very diverse, which is a great thing for many different communities to come together for the same goal. One negative is that sometimes Timberview students can be kinda hostile towards each other which leads to many fights but other than that it's pretty calm at Timberview.
From my four years of attending Mansfield Timberview High school I can say I have had an overall good experience attending here. The best part of attending my high school would be that I got to experience all four years in person, rather than online, despite Corona taking over in the mist of 2020-2021. With attending here, I have been able to play high school soccer for my whole four years which have been a blast, and being able to meet, grow, and learn with new teammates and friends has been a blessing. However, I would say the worst part of my experience would be the fact that we had a school shooting occur in October 2021, which made me feel scared to attend school following this due to the fact that I did not expect this to happen at my school. I would like to see resources, or just the idea that students should feel able, or safe to go to administration when they have a problem, whether it be personal, academic, or anything, and actually have change be done for it.
