Texas Southern University Reviews
Rating 3.6 out of 5 1,377 reviews
Texas Southern University has a diverse student body which creates a vibrant and inclusive campus environment. The strong academic programs vary, the university is known for the faculty being very communicative and being experts on what they teach. Finally, Texas Southern's rich history is a strong part of the culture and plays a significant role in the community it's in.
My time at Texas Southern was great, I met life long friends. I spent most of my time of scholarship in the music department where I performed all across the country and for huge events like the super bowl. The low cost of tuition afforded me the opportunity to have a top tier education for little to nothing out of pocket. There are some outdated system in place that seem to hold students pack from succeeding in a faster period. There needs to be an overhaul of communications between administration and students. Makes it harder to succeed when you cant actually speak to the people in charge.
