A beautiful exterior with a prime location in Mountain Village (Telluride) CO. However the interiors are somewhat spartan. The carpets are thin and need replacing along with most of the furniture. Public areas and pools are very nice.

This hotel is gorgeous and as is the case with all places in Telluride it's easy to get around town. However, the property is in rough shape and needs an update. We booked a Queen room the bed was a double as my husband who is over 6 ft didn't fit. We also had a broken coffee maker which we asked to have replaced. Housekeeping never came to clean the room the first day and the leaking coffee maker remained as well. We complained about the lack of service and also noted the screen was falling off the window. I went to the front desk on the third day of our visit and was told no manager had contacted us despite my request because they were busy. Since it was Sunday of a holiday weekend and everyone had checked out, they offered us a new room for the final night. The fan in the room was broken, soap dish falling off the shower wall and the smoke alarm was hanging from the ceiling. The manager had told us this was his favorite room on the property so if that was the condition it was in you can imagine how the other rooms are! For the price this should be a nicer hotel and then they do add the $20/night parking fee and then you wait 10-15 min for your car to be pulled around. Very dissatisfying stay.
