Larry Taylor founded Taylor Group, LLC in December of 2004.  Larry has been a CPA for over 40 years. He was a founder of Taylor, Perky & Parker, LLC (now known as TPP Certified Public Accountants, LLC) and was managing partner from 1981 to 2000.  Prior to starting Taylor Group, LLC,  Larry was executive in residence for the Henry W. Block School of Business and Public Administration at UMKC assisting and consulting with faculty, staff and students.  

John Scholtes started working with Larry when the Taylor Group was established in 2004, became a partner in 2008 and the majority owner in 2020.  John graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in 1998.  He is a member of the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants and has been a Certified QuickBooks®  ProAdvisor since 2003.  John has engaged with the community as a Chamber Champion for The Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce since 2004 and is very active with the Sertoma Club.  John and his wife live in the Northland and are the proud parents of two.
