Thomas Clark, Jr., 93, passed away December 13, 2008, at Langdon Place in Exeter NH. He was born on September 14, 1915, in Manchester NH, the son of the late Thomas and Alice (Ogden) Clark. A 1933 graduate of Johnson High School in North Andover MA, Thomas also attended Lowell Tech for two years. He served in the United States Air Force for 26 years and held the rank of Senior Master Sergeant. During his career in the Air Force, he was an aviation mechanic and supervisor and served overseas in Australia and New Guinea. Formerly of Greenland NH, Thomas resided in Exeter for the last 8 years. He was a member of the DAV in Portsmouth NH, the Air Force Sergeant's Association, and the AARP. A skilled craftsman, Thomas was a man who could fix anything and enjoyed working with wood. He and his wife enjoyed square dancing and were members of the Down East Westerner's Square Dance Club in Kittery ME. Thomas was employed for 11 years as a supervisor and sheet metal mechanic at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. After his retirement, he and his wife wintered in the Sarasota area of sunny Florida.

Thomas lovingly cared for his wife Grace A. (Moran) Clark, who suffered from Alzheimer's and passed away on February 5, 2005.

He is survived by his children Maureen Kesting of Concord NH, Barbara and husband Paul McCombie of Sarasota FL, Thomas J. Clark of Greenland NH, Nancy and husband Chuck Boover of Hampton NH, and Stephen and wife Beth Clark of Danville NH; 10 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sister Evelyn Clark of North Andover MA; and several nieces and nephews.
